British Airways is introducing no-cost high-speed onboard connectivity via space-based partnership
Passengers aboard British Airways will soon enjoy quick wifi in the air without charge due to a major deal involving Elon Musk's satellite firm.
Complimentary plus Fast Wifi for All
The carrier stated that the complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet service via Starlink is set to be available for customers flying economy, premium economy, or first class starting soon.
Broad Rollout Over Multiple Carriers
The parent organization for BA, IAG, announced it had reached an deal with Starlink for providing internet services for over 500 planes across its carriers, which also include the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.
Uninterrupted Internet starting at Gate through Landing
BA noted that the introduction of the service was included in a multi-billion pound “upgrade” initiative and will offer uninterrupted internet access for passengers starting at boarding through arrival, including when in flight over seas or far-off locations.

Limited internet service remains available to British Airways flyers through most of their jets via their .air service.
Members in BA’s loyalty club may transmit texts plus text-only correspondence onboard at no cost, whereas flyers looking to access music, video, or films throughout their travel who are not flying in first class might pay from £4.99 and twenty-one pounds ninety-nine for a internet plan.
